1. Pictures I took at a gas station, October 13, 2010; the "Cars Crave Clean" motif started appearing at gas stations this past summer as a way to try to say that I'm dirty; everything that has been along the lines of "getting things clean" is a pun. I'm wondering if the skulls that say "FlourideAlert" that have been put on the back of the "Planet Aid" bin and then spattered with red paint are meant to be all part of the harassment and threats against me, to say that I'm dirty, that I have problems with my teeth, that I deserve to die. At the bottom of all of the signs that say things such as "Cars crave CLEAN," it gives a web address of "fuelprogress.com." I don't think that what has happened in regard to this situation is progress; in any case, it's not good progress, not healthy progress of any kind. As I've said, I'm in favor of all worthy causes, but I'm not in favor of the use of the publicity of those causes as a weapon.
2. Pictures I took at the Burlington Town Center (mall) October 13, 2010. The "Wash it" Gap ad has been painted on to that window since several weeks ago; I had other pictures of it up on my Friendster profile before that profile got erased. One day I tried to log in, and the whole thing was gone. It was nice to get it back; if you are a new visitor here, you can see other pictures that I put up today and on previous days on my Friendster profile.
3. Still at the Burlington Town Center mall, right around the corner from the "Wash it" Gap ad, October 13, 2010:
4. In the Burlington Town Center Mall at Toys R Us, October 13, 2010: a window full of toy weapons, with Pirates of the Caribbean to the side of them and Toy Story characters behind them and in the front of another window. Toy Story is a harassment theme from a few months ago, when the U.S. Postal Service created a campaign that featured me as a pig talking to characters from Toy Story 3. THESE AREN'T PICTURES THAT ANYONE NEEDS TO LOOK AT ONE BY ONE IN ORDER TO GET THE IDEA, so I'm not going to take the time to put them in the order that the boxes of toys were set in the windows. The wall of weapons and Pirates was all one window; anyone who does take the time to look at these pictures one by one will see that. The impression of military cacophony that the display created in person is adequately represented by the current order of the pictures.
5. Pictures I took on Church Street in Burlington, VT on October 13, 2010. Unfortunately, the picture I took of the sponsors listed at the bottom of the poster for the "Giant Pumpkin Regatta" was blurry, but you can still see that one of the sponsors is the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce. I went to the website for the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce; it had a message in the top left corner that said "The pumpkin regatta made CNN!" and also an advertisement for a trip to China: "Experience China for 9 Days, 7 nights."
6. The Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrates that its Pumpkin Regatta appeared on CNN and also advertises for the trip to China that the LCRCC and the Vermont Council on World Affairs are offering together.
7. These are pictures that I took of the menu-plaque of one restaurant on Church Street on October 13, 2010. Much of Church Street is blocked off and paved with brick so that it creates a pedestrian center to downtown Burlington. "Cheddar, crabcakes and pork"; I'm preferring not to comment on the turkey sandwich. Anyone and anything can be called a turkey; it's not polite, but it's not specifically sexual harassment as far as I know. I've used the term "pig" before, but almost never with a sexual connotation to it; if I've used that term, it's at times when I've lost my temper due to extreme provocation. Also, I don't think I've ever used that word to describe one person. If I've called people pigs, it was in this way: "You are such a bunch of pigs." Again, it's not polite, but it's not something I've done without provocation or often. What the Obama administration has done on these issues is to go out of its way to bring out the worst in people.
8. Halloween is fast approaching, but I doubt that this business just off Church Street had to focus almost entirely on skulls or use as many skulls as it did. I took these pictures on October 13, 2010.
9. Here's what those same windows that now have skulls in them looked like in the middle of August 2010, months before the color red had been given a negative connotation by the harassers outside of Vermont in regard to me. These windows looked like what I've shown in the pictures below until October. Whatever the goals and motivations of the government/media/celebrity/etc. harassers have been, their aggressive pushing of the harassment and threats have already turned back the clock on women's rights and on human rights in general.
10. A different gas station in downtown Burlington on October 13, 2010.
11. I took these pictures on October 13, 2010. I'm not sure what Kinney Drugs is trying to say with this sign; I took pictures of both sides of it. The Burlington Seahorses are the sports teams of Burlington High School. I did find the "ERA DETERGENT" side funny in a macabre way; is Kinney Drugs trying to say that it wants to wash the Equal Rights Amendment out of the United States and out of existence? I almost want to say that I bet that the staff of Kinney Drugs having chosen "Era" as the detergent in the sign was a coincidence; almost. I wonder how many people understand that what's happening is going to lead to the destruction of their civil liberties if it isn't stopped. Although there have been and continue to be occasional moments of humor, the overall situation isn't funny or cute even though all of the big organizations have been trying to portray it as fun and as a good time to be had by all. The big organizations who are part of the harassment are serious about their purpose. It's about money, power, and control, and that kind of behavior isn't going to end with my being targeted; I'm just the prototype for it, and the big harassers and others like them want to make an example out of me so that nobody ever challenges anything they do again. Also; although I awarded more than one "Made Me Laugh In Spite of Myself" prize during the early months of the specifically sexual harassment, there hasn't been one thing about the pedophilia and exploitation of other young people side of this situation that I have found remotely funny.
