1. Newblog2011: 07/24/11 Delayed notes/Times Argus wants to tell people "Where The Boys Are"/Times Argus and Burlington Free Press not the only Gannett-owned newspapers in Vermont
As I've said before, I never have enough time or Internet access to write online about everything I'd like to say about every issue. Just because I haven't written online about something doesn't mean that I haven't noticed it or that I think it's good. I have notes that I took days or weeks ago that I haven't used yet, but that doesn't mean that I'll never get to putting them online.
For example, yesterday the Barre Montpelier Times Argus continued to endorse child molestation at least on its front page; I didn't look through the rest of the newspaper then. I felt that I needed to take time during the day yesterday to help people who didn't know what happened last year to understand some of it better. I also felt that what I wrote last night when I had the chance to use the Internet was important. However, there are also times when there are several problems which I think are all equally important, and I have to decide which one I'm going to write about.
Today, the front page of the paper version of the Gannett-owned Times Argus has a story on its front page called:
"Where The Boys Are."
I've said before that I think that Gannett is an extremely dangerous company. The Burlington Free Press and The Times Argus AREN'T the only Gannett-owned newspapers in Vermont.
