1. Newblog2011: 10/06/11 Is Loyalty a Conglomerate Value?
More notes from the past few days:
The Women’s Center is on Pleasant Street in Cambridge. Here are some notes I took on my way there the other day:
--Corner of Pleasant and Franklin Street—a park
--Road blocked off
--Road ripped up
--Construction machine; crane or bulldozer
--Vehicle with a Bruins sign on the back
--A police officer to oversee it
--A motorcycle parked off to the side, with a black covering over it, behind 2 Caution road cones that have a piece of Caution tape stretched between them
--When I walked by, one of the workers seemed to be shredding a large piece of yellow, industrial pipe; shards of the pipe were lying in the road
The people who are implied as being denigrated by the conglomerate in that scenario did what the conglomerate wanted them to do.
