--Patrick Leahy's ongoing involvement in promoting pedophilia in Vermont
There's a page on my blog entitled "ECHO/LEAHY." You can see pictures there which show how the ECHO ads have been used in the Burlington Free Press to order to endorse pedophilia.
The page entitled "ECHO/LEAHY" is right after the page entitled "November 14, 2010."
As of May 14, 2011, first thing that shows up on Patrick Leahy’s official website says the following, which I’ve transcribed directly from that website:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Leahy Speaks At The Leahy Center For Lake Champlain:
On May 6, Senator Leahy joined staff and board members of ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain to announce an expansion of the lake aquarium and science center which has become an integral part of the Burlington waterfront. Since opening in 2003, the Leahy Center has delighted and educated people of all ages and has drawn attention to the important challenges inherent in caring for Vermont's "great lake".”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please notice the date, May 6, on which “Senator Leahy joined staff and board members of ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain to announce an expansion of the lake aquarium and science center…”
I have written many times on my blog about the use of ECHO ads in the media to make pedophilic innuendo and to support the harassment in general. I wrote more about that issue on my blog on May 2, 2011, and gave instructions on that page for where to find background information about it.
On May 4, 2011, I wrote a page on my Weebly blog describing some of the Vermont state government’s involvement in the harassment and pedophilia. Specifically on May 4, I wrote both about a calendar created by the Vermont state government and about the ever-increasing level of harassment and pedophilic innuendo perpetrated by the public library in the town where I’ve been living since the end of March. I wrote about a reaction I had to the library’s latest behavior, and two days later, Senator Leahy apparently used my reaction as an excuse to push the agenda of harassment and pedophilia some more.
The staff at the library who harassed me there DID NOT leave me alone. Day after day, they made comments and put up ever-more disgusting posters, books and other publications meant for innuendo all around the library. It is obvious to me that they weren’t going to stop until they got a reaction from me, and when they got that reaction, Senator Leahy used it to excuse and perpetrate more of his own horrible behavior.
I never created any kind of disturbance in that library of my own accord or on my own initiative; never. They kept at me until they got what they wanted, and then Senator Leahy used what I wrote about it to give more support to the harassment and to the pedophilia.
--The Burlington Free Press and the Times Argus push pedophilia and sexual exploitation even more in recent days/Kris Martin, self-proclaimed "Shoestring Fisherman," writes "The big "O"" next to a picture of high school girls.
The past week has been especially bad for pedophilic references from the Gannett-owned Burlington Free Press and Times Argus. Today, the Burlington Free Press has a picture of a little girl on its front page, wearing a t-shirt that says “GUARD” on it, with a title that says “Whiff of Spring at Shelburne Museum.”
That’s another, true implication by the Burlington Free Press that military organizations such as the National Guard have been used by the government in the media to support and even enforce pedophilia in Vermont.
The article next to that one on the front page of the Burlington Free Press says “A Cup Full of UVM Skaters.”
The article below both of those on the front page says “More Rain Likely to Hamper Flood Clean-up.” That article has more large titles such as that one.
The article about the Shelburne Museum that’s advertised on the front page with the title “Whiff of Spring at Shelburne Museum” is on the front page of the D section. Below it there’s another article entitled “Get Children Moving When They’re Young.”
I didn’t look through much more of the Burlington Free Press than that; I’ve given enough page-by-page descriptions of what that and other newspapers does for people to be able to recognize what’s going on by now and to look for themselves.
The front page of the Times Argus had a story along the side about children who were given cold lunches at school for complaining about their hot lunches and for doing things such as “failing to clean up after themselves.”
I didn’t look through much of the Times Argus today, either, but I will mention an ongoing issue there that I find especially gross and dangerous.
There’s a writer for that newspaper named Kris Martin. Today, below his name, it says “Shoestring Fisherman.” The title of his article is “Lake Travel Stories,” and the first line of the article is “The big ‘O.’”
As is usually the case, Mr. Martin’s article is on the front page of the Times Argus’s Sports Section, next to a picture of female, high school athletes.
Mr. Martin frequently writes articles like that, next to pictures of and articles about young, female athletes. To be honest, in addition to the gross things he writes, he looks like a brute; he looks like exactly the kind of guy who you don’t want anywhere near your kids, whether your kids are 2 years old or 200 years old.
----Pedophilia and its endorsement by powerful and influential people
It seems as if there are some celebrities and others who have usually gotten whatever they wanted from life, all of their lives, who think that my concerns about the pedophilia issue are unwarranted and that their participation in it is a big joke that nobody should worry about. It may be that those people are thinking “Who would take our behavior seriously? They’re just innuendos; who’s really going to mistake that for our endorsing pedophilia?”
If that's what those people are thinking, then here's my response:
1) Pedophiles are taking you seriously. The people in the media in Vermont who have been consistently involved in creating and publishing pedophilic references to whom I spoke were absolutely unrepentant and completely serious. I'm telling you that the people who have made a habit out of making those innuendos involving children for the past year want to have sex with children. Any hint from you or anyone else of any social standing that pedophilia is an acceptable activity that ought to be made legal is being taken very seriously, both by those in media whom I've described and documented, and by all other pedophiles who are watching this situation.
2) Although the number of people who are aware of the overall situation and who want pedophilia to be legalized seems to be smaller than the total number of people who have been aware of the overall situation and who have enjoyed and taken advantage of the message that sexual harassment and bullying are now being endorsed by the government and a lot of other powerful organizations and individuals, I am sure that a lot of people who never would have thought about whether or not pedophilia should be legalized, having previously correctly assumed that it's a horrific crime, are now wondering whether pedophilia might be an ok thing to do after all. Those people, who otherwise would have gone their entire lives without ever thinking that children might be appropriate sex objects for adults, have been looking at children and mentally trying out casting them as sex objects.
3) I have no doubt that children who were already being abused by adults or older children and teenagers before the government/corporate/media/school/celebrity situation started last year have been abused much worse by all of the abusers who found out about what was going on and who took their cue from it.
4) I think it's extremely likely that police departments at least all over the United States, if not all over the world, have much reduced their investigations of reports of child molestation. The police, as have schools, parents, entire communities, in addition to the governments, military and police departments of other countries, have all been given the message by the United States government not only that pedophilia is on its way to being legalized in the United States, but that anyone who speaks out against it will be attacked by the most powerful people in the planet.
I am sure that a great deal of damage has already been done, and that the people who are most responsible for it will never hear about it.
I wonder if the influential people who may have been treating pedophilia as a joke are thinking to themselves, "Lena is being histrionic. Who would take any of this seriously? How many people would choose to have sex with a child instead of another adult?"
If that's the question, here's my response:
There are adults, more than you think or than I ever knew before this year, who will have sex with children because they can't get what they want from other adults. Those adults either don't have the looks and/or social skills to get other adults to have sex with them, or they find it much easier to get it from children because few children can fight back against an adult.
I'm excluding myself from the above description in all ways and for all times in my past. As much as I have talked about my relationship skills, there has never been a time since I was a teenager when I didn't know that other people of appropriate age to me were attracted to me. Even when I was 30 to 50 pounds overweight for a few years in my early 20's, I knew that if I was willing to go for people whom I didn't much like and/or wasn't attracted to, I could easily get sex if I wanted it. I didn't choose to do that most of the time, but there are a lot of people who can't even get bad or mediocre sex from other people whenever they feel like having sex; there are a lot more of those people than there are people who can get sex from other adults in one way or another any time they want it or at least on a regular basis.
Specifically, to the celebrities who are involved, I don't know if I can convey the seriousness of the issue to people whose only knowledge of sex consists of having spent all of their teenage and adult lives being desired by more people than they could ever meet, and of having an endless supply of attractive people to date.
Celebrities, even the less powerful of them, usually also have a lot of money and rarely encounter moments in the day when non-celebrities or even just less powerful people in their own industry aren't going out of their way to make the celebrities happy while never saying that they're going out of their way at all, even if asked.
What can such privileged people, and others like them, know of what life is like for the majority of people in this world? What can they know of being ugly or disrespected, of jobs that require the people in them not only to work hard but to work hard while being ordered around or at least subordinate to many other people all day, every day, every week, with at most a week or 2 of vacation time a year, which a lot of people spend at their homes because they can't afford to go anywhere else?
What can celebrities really know of sexual frustration? Even unattractive celebrities can get other people to sleep with them, because they're celebrities and a lot of people want to sleep with celebrities. That's true of the rich, the powerful; it's true of a lot of the people who might have been endorsing pedophilia because they think the whole thing is a joke and that I'm overreacting.
What can celebrities who are sexually normal aside from their many advantages over the vast majority of human beings know about sexual deprivation? I'm not talking about wanting a specific person and not getting a chance to have sex with that person; I'm talking about the large percentage of people in the general population who have never had one moment of sexual beauty or ease in their entire lives. More people have that kind of life, have that kind of sexual background, than not.
A therapist did once say something useful to me. She said "Sex is one of the most powerful drives there is. It's as strong as the desire to live or to eat. You shouldn't be surprised at how difficult it is to handle it, not just for you but for a lot of people."
Think about that powerful drive never finding satisfying expression in the lives of more people than not in the general population. Then consider that laws and mores are what keep a large percentage of the population from committing crimes such as rape and child molestation. Think about what the logical consequence is of people such as the President of the United States telling THE WORLD not only that rape and child sex abuse are perfectly good things to do, but that they are both lucrative and morally superior to not committing those kinds of crimes.
Here's the part of this essay for which I had to imagine what someone who decides to molest a child might be thinking. It's not something I wanted to imagine, but I thought it was important for me to imagine it so that I could explain it to people who might not have fully considered or who don't understand why what's happened is a serious problem and not a funny joke at all.
In addition to being smaller than adults and easy to force to do what you want them to do, even average-looking children have a lot of physical qualities that could be viewed as being sexually attractive, such as unlined skin, light voices, and innocent facial expressions. The injuries, illnesses and imperfections of many if not most adults are absent in most children. Even overweight or handicapped children are not as physically damaged by the passage of years as overweight or handicapped adults.
Children are growing toward physical adulthood. Tomorrow won't bring signs of age to their faces or bodies. Neither will the next tomorrow or next week, next month or next year. Adults who have turned to children for sexual fulfillment have found warm bodies that not only will have the same amount of physical beauty for years into the future, they have found bodies that are growing every day toward, rather than away from, the height of their physical beauty and sexual attractiveness. Adults who have sex with children have found life at its beginning. That those adults are diverting life from reaching its healthy potential and are inflicting harm on helpless beings is part of the reason that pedophilia is illegal and should remain illegal.
I think that there's more to pedophilia than the beauty of children's bodies. Children can be told what to do much more easily than adults can. For adults and for teenagers who don't know how or who don't want to try to relate in a mutually respectful, healthy way to other people of appropriate age to them, who don't want to have to ask or to be involved in a give and take relationship, children are an easy way to have sex without having to do anything but force them or talk them into it.
In addition, what child doesn't have at least one adult in his or her life whom he or she is anxious to please? Especially in situations where a parent or primary caregiver is the abuser, that abuser will get from the abused child not only sex but love--real love. Desperate love, love without expectation, love that hopes only to be loved back, love that will continue to be love even if it is never returned. What child can love with artifice, with the slightest attempt at manipulation or control that isn't immediately obvious even to the most obtuse adult? Unlike most adults, a child will do anything for the object of his or love. It's not sexual love that the adult abuser gets from the child, or it might be after enough abuse and corruption of the child has occurred. What the love can't help but be is total; dependent, incapable of self-protection, as all children love the primary adults in their lives, no matter how abusive those adults are.
Who doesn't want to be loved completely, without criticism or expectations, without arguments, without any of the things that most relationships between consenting adults have?
That's why adults having sex with children is called abuse; those adults take what children can't help but give and those adults use it to their own ends, giving only harm in return.
--My old apartment building
The circumstances of my life for almost the past 2 decades have meant that I spent a lot of time with people whom I wouldn't have had as much opportunity to observe and interact with if my late adolescence and most of my adult life so far had gone according to the original plan. The low income apartment building that I lived in for a few years up until the fall of 2007 was a good example of what people who have limited resources will do to keep and gain control of one kind of acquisition; comfortable housing.
At one point, someone who had reason to know told me that the market value of townhouses similar to the location and condition of some of the apartments was $250,000 apiece. I paid $395 a month for my 1-bedroom apartment for most of the time that I lived there, and other people's rents were comparable to that amount. They were very nice apartments, with heat and hot water included; the only utility I paid was my electric bill, which usually wasn't even $20 a month. If some of the people who lived in that building became vicious and ruthlessly territorial, it's not difficult to understand why.

You can find pictures of Barack Obama’s websites referencing “Marlene Targ Brill,” and mocking rape and rape victims on my blog pages entitled “From November 3, 2010 @ 11:16 p.m.” and “From November 4, 2010.”
There are pictures there of the “Marlene Targ Brill” websites, mocking dental problems, with references to “pinkwater” and working in a pharmacy. (I used to work in a pharmacy and for a while, before I started getting abused for it by the big harassers, I joked about how I could use braces.)
There are pictures, too, of the section of one of the “Marlene Targ Brill” websites that talks about teachers punishing children by putting tape over the mouths of students and bags over their heads, and locking them in closets.
There are also pictures of Marlene Targ Brill references to the celebrity situation that revolved around me.
There are pictures of the involvement of Brian Williams, Unicef, the United Nations and the National Basketball Assocation in making pedophilic and sexually harassing innuendos.
There is more documentation there of jokes about flooding; it was “flooding in Pakistan” then. Hopefully, everyone reading this blog knows about something that happens every year in Pakistan and India called “the monsoon season,” in which heavy rain happens for months and causes flooding.

I have a lot to do today and don't have as much time to edit as I'd like. If there are typos or grammatical errors, hopefully I can get back to them later or on another day.

(May 16, 2011 I got back to do some editing today. However, I can't spend any more time on it now.)
