--The assistant director of the shelter was here today, making signs. I don't know what the signs are going to say, but I heard him doing a lot of loud, repetitive coughing and sneezing when I was a few yards away.
Also; earlier tonight, I needed to know if I should plan to make dinner or if it were being donated to the whole shelter from someone or somewhere, so I asked the volunteer if dinner was being donated. He said “I have to call Domino's in about 10 minutes.”
That particular volunteer seems to be getting into the habit of rubbing his nose when he sees me; he did that today as soon as he saw me. He also handed his coffee cup over to me and another resident to wash for him the other day, in the morning, when we're all supposed to be getting ready to go between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.. We're all supposed to do our own dishes; I don't think we're supposed to be doing the staff's dishes.
The shelter just had several boxes of pizza for dinner for the residents a couple of days ago, and I wrote about it on my Weebly blog. I said that it had made me uncomfortable but that I had eaten it anyway, not having the time or energy to do something else and not wanting to have cereal again. It's never the easiest here, in terms of time; it's the same thing in the morning and at night, which is de facto competition between all of the people in the house for bathrooms, laundry time, and so on.
Tonight, there was pizza again? It's difficult for me to believe that Domino's donated several boxes of pizza twice within the same week, let alone within a couple of days.
Did Domino's ever donate this week at all? Has the assistant director or the shelter manager been authorizing payment for delivery pizza just to make me uncomfortable and to encourage residents and staff to harass me?
I've never seen pizza twice in the same week before, here.
There's a male resident who moved in maybe a week ago who seems to vary in his treatment of me. However, he's worn a shirt that said “RIVERS” on it in red a couple of times in the past week, and has taken to rubbing his nose and coughing when he sees me, if he feels like it.
I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER WAY TO HANDLE THOSE SITUATIONS BESIDES SAYING “I'M SO GLAD I'M NOT FAT” and other, rude things that I say. I went back and apologized for how I'd expressed myself, (although I couldn't help it at the time I'd said it because I'm so sick of it, I'm sick of being harassed).
Then I said “I've never been anything but nice to you and you know it.” It's true; it's like that with everyone in Barre, Montpelier, at the state hospital in Waterbury, and a lot of other people. The pattern is that I haven't ever done anything to them, and they go out of their way to try to provoke, harass and bully me.
