- September is national library card sign-up month. Encourage a friend to get a Boston Public Library card.
- Saturday hours return to Boston Public Library branches on September 10. Sunday hours return to the Central Library in Copley Square on October 2.
- Gail Buckley’s Lowell Lecture appearance has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 2, 2012.
- All Boston Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, September 5, in observance of Labor Day.
