Earlier today, I saw that a Google search result of the name Barack Obama went to a blog post that had a hint about "hang" on the side.
Does the President ever consider the possibility that he allows himself to be horrifyingly petty more often than he should?
Google has changed its homepage overnight to be a picture of bones in an x-ray.
A Google search result of the name Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani now brings up blog posts that are plastered with ads that say "BP oil spill; we will clean this up, we will make this right," around a news story that says that Ms. Ashtiani is about to executed immediately.
I don't deserve to have the weight of lives placed upon my shoulders; I should not be in this situation. I spoke my mind because what's been happening in Iran spoke to me first in terms of how harsh those death sentences seemed to me to be, but I'm one person who doesn't have an official capacity in government in any way, and as a citizen of the United States, I have the right to expect and demand good judgment and fair decisions from the President.
Neither President Obama nor anyone else has the right to try to hold lives as hostages in an unjustifiable battle of personal resentment or professional greed being waged against me.
Whatever the President thinks of himself, what he's doing now is his legacy. Lives trump all.

I just looked up "Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani lawyer" on Google and the ad at the top of the page of the most recent blog post is a copy of the ad that Michelle Obama put on her September 16, 2010 website in which she threatened Carla Bruni.
The ad from tonight is a Super Bowl ad, sponsored by Doritos and Pepsi, and it says "Last Chance To Submit."
I've put a picture of Mrs. Obama's September 16, 2010 blog post in the slideshow. You can see the Google search term "sakineh mohammadi ashtiani lawyer" in the top left corner of the second picture, the one with the Super Bowl ad sponsored by Doritos and Pepsi.
What right do American corporations, or any corporations, have to decide the fate of individuals? What does Ms. Ashtiani or anyone else on death row or otherwise imprisoned in Iran have to do with Doritos, Pepsi or the Super Bowl? For that matter, why was Mrs. Obama threatening Carla Bruni on September 16, 2010? Does Mrs. Obama think that she has the right to threaten the First Ladies of other countries, countries which have been on good terms with the United States for so long that there is no living person who can personally remember when the United States was not on good terms with those countries in any significant or public way?
I'm not sure that I understand what the source is of what seems to be the continuing confusion of Mr. and Mrs. Obama regarding the limits and responsibilities of the roles that they chose to take on when Mr. Obama ran for and was elected to the Presidency.

I'm also not sure what the President expects me to say. Does he expect me to say that I think he's a wonderful person? Does he expect me to say that I think his wife's behavior hasn't been excessively aggressive and completely inappropriate? Should I thank the Obamas for bringing pedophilia into Vermont schools and the media here? Should I thank them for leading the charge for me to sexually harassed and threatened?
Leaders of countries expecting the citizens of those countries to tell them how great they think their behavior is when that's not the opinion of those citizens is something that monarchs used to do and that dictators now do.
Today, the President has filled the blog posts for his name with harassing references; he even has one that says "leak" right on the first page of Google search results.
