2. Newblog2011: 09/13/11 The Boston Herald and privacy invasions
Yesterday, on my Weebly blogpage, 5. Newblog2011: 09/12/11 The PIN number on my bank card; another privacy violation of information that I shouldn't have to explain, I wrote that the bank I'd had in Vermont had sent me a PIN number for the ATM card I got there, that I'd tried to change it on the ATM there, and that I hadn't been able to do that and hadn't needed to use my card in Boston more than once since I've been here since there's been no money on it.
That's true; I didn't have my bank card with me at the Vermont State Hospital, so I had called the branch in Burlington--
Boston Herald has the last 3 digits of my bank card ID on the front page of the newspaper today--it's not even embarrassed.
I have to end this now because a security guard from the library just walked up and asked to talk to me. I've been getting harassed here for hours, and just told two staff people here about it, before the guard walked up to me.
As I've said before, if I want to go out with someone, I can say that; I don't need to use code to do it.

I've been HARASSED HERE THE ENTIRE TIME. Everyone in the room can see that the guard is going to say that I'm the one in trouble. there are even people doing the fake coughing and sneezing right now, as he's standing there waiting to talk to me.

Now he's hassling me to stop on the computer........
@ 3:42 p.m. NO!! He wanted to know what was going on! A few minutes before the guard asked to talk to me, I had complained to a few people who work at the library about the guy who had kept signing up for computers until he got the one that was next to me, and THAT'S what the guard wanted to talk to me about.
So, that's good. Thanks to the Boston Public Library.
And I really shouldn't do this.....but
I WIN. I WIN. I WIN this time, I win.
I guess I win. I didn't lose, anyway.
:)
I wrote about the guy going from computer to computer on my WordPress blog, realnames1, earlier today.
Back to the theme of this blogpage:
It's really not ok to invade my privacy by looking at what the PIN number is on my bank card and then publicizing it on the front page of a newspaper. It's not as if today is the first time that something like that has happened.
The other thing I did want to say here is that, whatever the newspaper is trying to imply; as I've said many times, if I want to go out with someone, I can say that and I don't need to use code to do it.
