In front of the Boston Public Garden, on the Arlington Street side, four sections of the brick pavement of the sidewalk have been ripped up. The sections might be 10 by 20 feet. They are all surrounded by Caution cones and Caution tape. Some of them have removed bricks piled up next to the ripped-up sections. More than one of them has stacks of what are presumably the replacement bricks nearby, still bound in their packing rope.
Newbury Street is one of the streets that begins perpendicular to Arlington Street. Newbury Street also has the Women’s Lunch Place on it, a few blocks up.
At the corner of Newbury Street and Arlington Street, Burberry is on one side of the street. The other corner has a Chanel boutique and the Taj Hotel.
There are Caution cones on both sides of Newbury Street, beginning at each corner and going up to where the valet parking for the Taj Hotel ends.
At the last Caution cone, a small, red, children’s bicycle is locked to (I took these notes quickly; it’s locked to a meter or a tree.)
The bicycle says “MISSION” on it.
Also on Newbury Street, a few doors up from what I’ve just described, is the Elizabeth Grady store. In the window was a large sign that said:
“SO LONG!” at the top of the sign
and
“LASH ON!” at the bottom of the sign.
Here’s the first search result from a search of “picture Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani lashed,” a story from September of 2010. I’ve put the search result and some of the first part of the article:

The newspaper "The Times" in regard to that article is The London Times.
When I walked to the Women’s Lunch Place this morning, up the street was a large truck that said “ROMA” on the back of it. It was blocking a lane of the street. It was parked next to a truck that said “Sid Wainer & Sons.”
When I left the Women’s Lunch Place this morning, there was a van that said “Old English Cleaning” on it, parked directly across the street.
I took a left at the corner across from it and then another left onto Commonwealth Avenue.
As I walked up Commonwealth Avenue, the Old English Cleaning van drove past me.
