2. Newblog2011: 09/08/11 Au Bon Pain
Au Bon Pain has been especially persistent about being vile. There are their advertisements for lobster sandwiches, cheese pastries, and sentence after sentence with the word "fresh" in them on their chalkboard day after day in front of their store(s. Today, for the second time since I've been in Boston, I walked past the Au Bon Pain on Boylston Street and saw that a van that said "FISH Window Cleaning" was parked in front of the store. The word "FISH" was in very large red letters, and the driver of it was just getting out of the van.
Is it really true that these people follow me around to be where I'm going past when I go past it?
The frequency with which that kind of thing happens suggests that yes, that's what happens. And yet, it continues to be difficult to believe.
