--So, what DOES the inside of a jail cell look like? I'm not all THAT curious, I must say.
There was another status conference for my simple assault case yesterday, Monday, June 13, 2011. It had been postponed for that date from the last one, which itself had been a postponement.
My lawyer tried to get the case dismissed before this most recent conference, and couldn't.
I talked to my lawyer this past Friday and found out from him that the prosecutor who's been in charge of the case all along, Scott Willison, was away for 2 weeks and that someone named "Gabe Gilman" was in charge of the case.
There's also a new judge for the case.
I'm not sure what happened yesterday, or which prosecutor was in court. However, the State's Attorney's office still hasn't dismissed the case; they're saying that they want "more information."
A discharge summary from the hospital is going to be given to the prosecutor, who hasn't confirmed whether or not that will be sufficiently "more information."
Yet another status conference has been scheduled, for June 20, 2011.
I think that they want to prosecute; they want to prosecute me for assault. I would say that they are looking for a way to do that, and that that has been in the works for a while.
--Threats to me and to my lawyer
The Sunday, June 12, 2011 Burlington Free Press had a large caption at the top of its front page advertising for a story in another section of the newspaper. The caption said "Oh, to live on PRICKLY MOUNTAIN: Architecture 101. No permits, no parents, no clients, plenty of plywood for David Sellers and friends, 1E."
It was yesterday that I went to the library to find that copy of the Burlington Free Press. I had glanced at it briefly on Sunday, and had seen that the "Prickly Mountain" story had a "Northfield Savings Bank" sticker over most of it, covering almost all of the caption except the part that said "no clients."
The Northfield Savings Bank logo is a flying pig. The fact that its logo includes a pig has meant that its ads and stickers have been used as part of the harassment of me for more than a year.
Next to the caption about "Prickly Mountain," there's a picture of a house with a pool in front of it. The story itself featured more of the same kind of picture.
June 12, 2011 was the day before my status conference. Isn't it likely that the Burlington Free Press was threatening both me and my lawyer with its story, and the sticker?

--And before you leave the library, look at THIS!
Before I left the Montpelier library yesterday, I used the restroom. The restroom that gets the most amount of use by all patrons has a small, empty bookcase directly across from the toilet; less than a foot away from the toilet, actually. I sat down, and couldn't miss the poster that had been taped to the front of the eye-level-if-you're-sitting-down bookcase. Here's what it said on the poster, which I had also seen up in on the placard in front of the library and on its bulletin board:
"June & July Raffle
(logo for "Onion River Century Ride" next to the words) WIN THIS BIKE!
1st Prize Gary Fisher Lane
Value $1,099.99
2nd Prize Yakima Bike Rack
Value $300
(picture of a bike)
Tickets $2 apiece, 6 for $10 and 15 for $20.
Drawing is Friday, July 29, 2011
Raffle Benefits the Kellogg-Hubbard Library."
As harassment goes, in terms of sheer terminology, I've seen worse; it was the placement of it, and the intention behind it, that I thought was.....I bet that library has people working in it who graduated with perfect G.P.A's from "Nasty Librarian School."

--HomeShare Now
There's a project called HomeShare that places people who want affordable housing or to do caregiving in the homes of elderly people. I was given a flyer about it a couple of weeks ago, by someone who, I'm sure, had good intentions. Here's what it said:

This event proudly sponsored by MMR: Maclean, Meehan & Rice, llc : New name. New offices. Expanded mission.
-------------------------------------------------------
What did the law office of Maclean, Meehan & Rice mean by its large, bold-print words at the bottom of the flyer, "New name. New offices. Expanded mission."?
Is MMR saying that it hopes to include the sexual abuse of the elderly in the distorted and twisted political/corporate/media/entertainment industry agenda? Is that the plan? Not just children, but also the elderly? What's the appeal of the elderly for sexual abusers, just that they're old and frail, vulnerable?
Here's what it says on the first page of the website for Maclean, Meehan & Rice:
-----------------------------------------------------------
"The firm of MacLean, Meehan & Rice, LLC, is located in the center of Montpelier, Vermont's state capital, in close proximity to the Vermont State House, Vermont Supreme Court and many regulatory departments of the State of Vermont. The firm's physical location mirrors in many ways the firm's practice of providing the highest quality representation of its clients before the legislative and executive branches of the State of Vermont. The firm serves a diverse clientele and has strong roots in the Vermont community.
Representative clients include: AFLAC, American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), AstraZeneca, Beverage Association of Vermont, Cabot Creamery, Citizens for Fire Safety Institute, Corrections Corporation of America, Entergy Nuclear VT Yankee, International Bottled Water Association, Middlebury College, Mt. Mansfield Television/WCAX, MVP Health Plan, National Council on Compensation Insurance, New England Convenience Store Association, Omya Industries, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Pomerleau Real Estate, Reynolds American, St. Johnsbury Academy, Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association, Verizon Communications, Verizon Wireless, Vermont Apartment Owners Association, Vermont Association of Realtors, VELCO, Vermont Golf Association, Vermont Information Consortium, Vermont Association of Investigative & Security Services, Vermont Health Care Association, and the Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association.
The firm consists of Andrew MacLean, Timothy Meehan, Chris Rice, Susan Gretkowski and Donna Smith. The firm also utilizes legal interns from Vermont Law School for certain legislative support.
Through its companion law firm of MacLean & Rice, LLC, the firm's clients have access to experienced legal representation before the legislature, administrative agencies and boards, and in all state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. One or more of the attorneys in the firm have areas of concentration in the following substantive areas of practice: Business and Commercial Law, Environmental Law, Health Care Law, Insurance Law, Landlord/Tenant Law, and Municipal Law."
--------------------------------------------
Gosh, look at all the clients in that list who probably don't like me and/or who have been part of the harassment? Just to name a few:
--AstraZeneca
--Cabot Creamery (which today has graphics on its website such as "Greek Yogurt," "Growing Health and Wealth," "Virtual Farm Tour," and "Cookies for Good: Ending Homelessness." You know what, Cabot? Don't you worry about my homelessness; if I go to jail for assault, I'll have a place to say for up to three years, I think. How about you just STOP HARASSING ME and stop being part of whatever else you're involved in that gross, evil and wrong?)
--Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee
--Mt. Mansfield Television/WCAX
--New England Convenience Store Association (I can't tell you how many convenience stores either have corporate harassment all over them, have included individual harassment of me by staff, or both. As with most of the people who harass me, I've never DONE ANYTHING TO THEM.)
--Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America
--Verizon
