14. Newblog2011: 07/27/11 The Beginning of the End of Women's Rights
When I was at the bus stop tonight, I saw a group of teenagers across the street. 3 boys were walking in a straight row across. Behind them were 3 girls, also walking in a straight row across.
The boys WOULD NOT walk with the girls. The girls were usually 10 feet behind the boys, the entire time. I saw one of the girls make some effort to close the distance; I saw her step out of the girls' row toward the boys, and gesture to the girls. Sometimes one of the other girls would take a step or two out of the girls' row, but then she would fall back again.
