I'm always trying out different ways of structuring what I write on Weebly. The first half of June 9, 2011 looks slightly different than this page does, but I think this format is less fussy.
June 9, 2011
--A bookstore on Main Street has had a sign in the front window saying "New! Hidden History of Barre" for a couple of weeks. That sign is above a display of books for children and teenagers.
There are other books in the window, such as "The Young Man and the Sea." The guy who I guess owns, manages or works at the store came out and stood there, grinning, while I took notes about the front window this morning; when I walked by again in the afternoon, it looked as if he'd added a book to the display, "Setting Up An Aquarium."
There are, and have been for a while, other things in that bookstore window that are offensive.
--Cumberland Farms now has signs up saying "New! Iced Tea Free On Fridays!"
If the pedophilia campaign doesn't stop, the word "new" is going to become synonymous with pedophilia. Aside from every other issue, that will be very inconvenient not only for all business everywhere, but for English as a language and for everyone who speaks it.
--More work search issues/pedophilia barriers
I looked up Enterprise yesterday. It had seemed not too bad for corporate harassment from the office I'd seen; then I saw a picture of a little boy fishing on the website and thought I'd better not apply there.
--More issues from Weebly
I just signed out of Weebly and then thought it was probably a good idea to mention that Weebly's obvious support for pedophilia is no different from any other support that Weebly has given to other issues over the past year and a half.
I had a WordPress blog for a while last year, before pedophilia became the fad and it was all sexual harassment specific to women. It was the same thing; any blog I tried to go to either was already part of the harassment or became part of it after I joined it, probably out of fear of the harassers.
What's happening doesn't represent the world; it represents the ability of some powerful people to inflict bad things on the world.
