6. Newblog2011: Child Molestation support in Montpelier looks like what the
support for it in Barre looked like a couple of months ago; hints that can't be
misinterpreted, but not yet as explicit as what I wrote about yesterday.
Here are some notes that I took in Montpelier on
07/28/11:
--A building called “Blue Seal Feeds & Needs”
that looks as if its real name is “Guy’s Farm and Yard.”
It seems as if whoever “Guy” is bought the old “Blue Seal Feeds and
Needs” building and never got rid of the old sign on the building.
The sign at the edge of the lot, closest to the road, says “INNOVA
PROMOTIONAL SALE” as the part that the manager or owner of the place put on with
those letters that go on that kind of sign, below the permanent part of the sign
that says “Guy’s Farm and Yard.”
--On the same street, close by:
“Sign Design Digital Graphics”
Here’s what’s in their front windows and in their
store:
Picture of a little girl in a short, santa-type
dress and boots. She’s holding a
teddy bear. Next to her is a
poster that says “Mad River Glen General Store.” The next poster over says “eWaste 2011
Small Dog Electronics 2011 Always By Your Side Apple Specialist”.
On the floor in front of the window is a poster
with three, seemingly separate pictures in it that
says:
“National Life Group/Performance Automotive/Vermont Historical
Society”
The last thing in the display on that side is a sign with
examples of graphics on it, including the symbol for a women’s
restroom.
There’s a plaque on the wall between the two front windows that
says:
“This building proudly owned and maintained by Central Vermont
Community Land Trust/Neighborhood Chartered
Member.”
(Note from 08/01/11: Please see my blogpage 3. Newblog2011: 08/01/11 Charter Schools for a clarification about the word "charter" in the previous sentence.)
The next window over says “Northwind
Communities: Direct to communities
everywhere. Greenhouses,
Universities, Hotels & Resorts, Libraries, Public Schools, Small Businesses,
Farms--“ the list goes
on.
There’s a poster for Cirkus Smirkus, for
kids.
There’s a poster that says “New!” in rainbow
colors. It goes on to say:
“BIODEGRADABLE BANNER
MEDIA”
On that same poster, it shows a picture of a little boy holding a
dog next to a green 3-arrow recycle
symbol.
--Next there’s a poster of an adult man, pointing at the boy and
smiling.
--On the wall to the side of the display there’s a picture of the
capitol building in Montpelier
--Over the tops of those posters, you can see a banner hanging
from the ceiling that says:
“SAVOR THE FLAVORS OF
VERMONT”
A couple of buildings away from “Sign Design” is the Montpelier’s
Children House, which looks like a day program for very young
children.
6. Child molestation support in Montpelier as of a few days ago looks like what the support for it in
Barre looked like a couple of months ago; hints that can't be misinterpreted,
but not yet as explicit as what I wrote about yesterday.
