1. Newblog2011: 09/06/11 The Pine Street Inn
When I went back to the Pine Street Inn this past Sunday in order to get my things from my temporary locker there, I was told that I have been barred from the place for 2 weeks.
The person who told me that I am barred for 2 weeks happened to be the same woman who had said to me "And so aren't you," when I'd told her that putting and leaving Wet Floor signs on completely dry floor was disgusting. That was on Friday, September 2, 2011, which was when she also told me that I was barred for that night. Apparently, they decided not only to bar me for that night but for 2 weeks.
I was able to get my things from my locker, and I'll be able to pick up my mail, but I can't stay there at night. I didn't ask if I could be on the premises during the afternoon or for meals; my assumption is that I can't.
I wrote about the incident that preceded my being barred on my Weebly blog page, 1. Newblog2011: 09/02/11 The Pine Street Inn.
This is another one of those times when I don't know if I handled something perfectly or not, as far as picking up my things on Sunday was concerned. I went past the front desk to my temporary locker. She saw me and called out my name. I said "Yes?" She said "You're barred for 2 weeks." I said "I'm just getting my clothes from my locker." After a few seconds, as I was getting my things, I also called back to her "And I couldn't care less. I couldn't care less," meaning that I couldn't care less if I were barred from the place or not.
She said "Good for you."
I said "You bet it is."
