THERE IS NO CODE INTENDED IN ANYTHING I WRITE, WEAR OR DO TODAY. EVENTUALLY, I HOPE, I'LL FEEL FREE TO STOP WRITING THAT AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING.

The shelter management where I'm staying helped me get an outfit to wear for job interviews. They wrote me a note and sent me to a secondhand store. After I'd found an outfit to wear, the store gave it to me for free. It was really nice of everyone involved, and I'm not the first person who's been helped by them that way.
It would be good if there were more residential shelters in this town. The place where I'm staying adequately fits the maximum number of people who stay there, but it's not a high number.
Vermont has a lot of cold months. It's life-threatening for anyone not to have a place to go.

P.S. I don't think it's copyright violation of what I just wrote here for funding and plans for more shelters and more services for the homeless and impoverished to occur. I'm most likely going to be able to handle my situation with what's already available, but I also have the housing side covered; without that, I'd be....very, very cold for one thing or still sitting in the hospital calling shelters all over Vermont every day, looking for one that has an available space.

--Yesterday, all I wanted to do was apologize to someone who deserved to have my apology. Maybe I could have just apologized, but I felt as if I had to say more than just my apology so that I wouldn't get hassled. It would appear that I'm getting hassled ANYWAY.
I don't think that different standards should apply to men and women. I don't think that men should be rewarded for behaving badly or inconsiderately, and I don't think that women should be rewarded for behaving badly or inconsiderately.
I do think that there is such a thing as too much degradation, and that's what the harassers have done for a long time now.
