4. Newblog2011: 08/13/11 Pine Village Immersion
From notes I took 08/11/11:
At 700 Harrison Avenue in Boston, there is what looks like a private school called "Pine Village Spanish Immersion." First there's what looks like an apartment building, then there's the school. Then there's a Spanish restaurant.
There are 3 big pictures of fish and one big picture of an octopus in the windows of the school. There is a sign in building, in front of the window, that says:
"Pine Village
Spanish Immersion
For your toddler and preschooler
For children 15 months to 5 years old"
There is a sign in the window that says:
"Pine Village
Spanish Immersion Summer Camp
Ages 15 months -- 7 years
for enrollment information
mybilingualpreschool.com/summer"
The Spanish restaurant in the same building, next to the school, has a sign in the window that shows a map of Spain with pieces of cheese all over it. The map says:
"Explore the soul of Spain!
Cheese from Spain."
There is a large, rainbow flag in the window and 2 little rainbow flags.
There is a red and white umbrella on the patio that says "Estrella," with a gold star that says:
"Cerveza DAMM Cerveza
Barcelona"
