--Corruption in Vermont: Vermonter of the Year
The three people whom the Burlington Free Press is pushing as candidates for “Vermonter of the Year” are all part of the harassment.
--Dan Fogel, President of UVM
--Mary Alice McKenzie, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club, president of the Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs in Vermont, and member of the board of trustees of Northfield Savings Bank. Ads for Northfield Savings Bank, whose logo is a flying pig, have been used for months as part of the harassment; Seven Days even put an ad for it under the story that it ran about the “Dear Hillary” campaign to stop rape in the Congo, under a picture of the two female St. Michael’s College students who have been running that campaign.
--Gretchen Morse, Executive Director of the United Way of Chittenden County, a volunteer agency
You can read about the appearance of these three people in the Burlington Free Press on my blog page entitled “From November 4, 2010.” You can also watch their activities yourself to see what these people are all about.
I don’t want to be Vermonter of the Year; I am indicating the extent to which corruption is rampant in Vermont.
Also; if there’s anyone who’s still in doubt about the strength of my feelings about the harassment, or about how Friday Night Lights treated me, here’s a test that I am setting only for the benefit of other people who are watching this story, because I know what the answer is:
--I Dare You
Go on, Friday Night Lights. Try to hire me; put a number on the screen every week. Raise the number every week; watch how it doesn’t work.
Same thing for every show, every newspaper, every magazine, every radio station, etc. that's been part of the harassment; put up the numbers, raise them every week. Watch what happens.
