The truth is that I don't have time to watch and comment on TV shows every week; that's probably not a bad thing because I don't think that my first reactions are always my best ones, especially when I haven't watched the whole episode of whatever the TV show is and I go online and write about it while I'm watching it but before I've seen the whole episode and then don't fix anything that I wrote until later.
I'm starting to make a slideshow on this page of some of what the Burlington Free Press looked like on November 3, 2010, the day after the election.
It seems to me that the Obama administration has been leading people to believe that pedophilia is completely fine. Pedophilia has NOT BEEN a generally accepted part of American life, NOT AT ALL, but what the Obamas started this past summer is encouraging the idea that pedophilia and violence against children is legitimate and normal.
If you encourage the attitude that presenting children in sexual and violent ways is all right, that will quickly jump off the page or the screen into real life. If more people aren't already sexually and physically abusing children because of what's been going on, I'd be very surprised.

I wish I hadn’t been too upset to deal with the November 3, 2010 Hometown section when it was published, because today’s is really bad, too.
It looks as if the schools that were using their students as part of the harassment were really just waiting until after the November 2, 2010 election to go back to being an obvious part of it. I guess that $19 million bribe from the federal government on September 16, 2010 really worked on school administrators and teachers.
From the Wednesday, November 10, 2010 Hometown section:
There are pictures of South Burlington High School girls' field hockey and soccer teams above an ad for “Vermont Meat and Seafood Market,” with its picture of cheese and list of products such as “All-natural meats, fresh seafood direct from Boston, exquisite wines, fresh local produce, specialty products and marinated meats, laplatte river angus meat.”
Although they're not on or across from a page that has pictures of students of any age or kids on it, the three large ads along the bottom edge of the November 10, 2010 Hometown section are for "Duraclean carpet and upholstery cleaning business," the "Annual Barry Chouinard T-Shirt Sale: National Guard Armory on the Norwich University Campus," and then an ad from a Chinese restaurant advertising scallops.
Page 9Y has one big title that says "Play teaches green lesson," above a picture of Burlington High School students performing "a play about waste reduction, for students at the Integrated Arts Academy at the H.O. Wheeler School in Burlington last Friday. The Wicked Witch of The Waste, played by (a female Burlington High School student), holds Prison Trash, played by (another female Burlington High School student)".
Below that picture is an ad for the Albany Berkshire Ballet's tour of the "The Nutcracker."
Page 12Y starts with a caption that says "a peek inside," above a title that says "Fun with math in Hinesburg."
There's a picture of two people with their 3 year old son "at Hinesburg Community School's eigth annual Family Math Playtime in the cafeteria Nov. 4." The article starts by saying "Stuffed with pizza and fresh veggies, preschoolers bounced around the Hinesburg Community School cafeteria last week."
It's very difficult for me to prevent myself from saying lots of really awful things about the people who have created, written, taken pictures for and published these things in the Burlington Free Press, and about the schools who are corrupting their students, but it's really the government's fault. If it weren't being endorsed by the government, it wouldn't be happening.
On page 13Y there's another "POWER PLAY" ad from the ECHO: Lake Aquarium and Science Center/Leahy Center for Lake Champlain." This time it doesn't just say "Conservation Quest; Become an energy SUPER HERO!" An attachment has been added to the top of the ad that says "The Food Less Traveled: A special event to benefit the Vermont Foodbank: Institute of Museum and Library Services. Area Chefs copmete to create the delicious dish that has traveled the least amount of food miles in a creative and delicious evening with proceeds to benefit the Vermon Foodbank and ECHO's educational programs. $12.00 ($10.00 for members). Cash bar Buy tickets today."
That ad is below more pictures from the "Hinesbury Community School's eighth annual Family Math Playtime;" in fact, the ECHO ad saying that "Area Chefs (will) compete to create the most delicious dish" is just below a picture of a little girl. The boy in the picture next to her is 4; he's shown with his father.
Page 14Y is talking about Election Day from last week. There are pictures of people at the polls at Essex High School and Jericho Elementary School, above another ad for "Direct Cremation Services" and next to a very large ad for a food drive that says "KIDS CAN HELP," with business sponsors and local participants listed as "Citizens Bank, Burlington Free Press, Vermont Lake Monsters (baseball team), City Market, Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf."
Here's what it says:
"Hunger is a struggle year-round....for many families in our communities. One-third of Vermont children live in families that have trouble meeting basic needs and one in every eight is living below the poverty line. Growing up in poverty creates huge barriers for children to overcome--now and in the future. Children who grow up in poverty are more likely to experience inadequate nutrition leading to poor health and lower school performance.
Our sponsors, Citizens Bank and City Market, along with participating schools, will be thanked in a special ceremony at the classroom or school that collects the most food per student. The grand total of the collected food and the Kids CAN Help winning school will be published in the Burlington Free Press at the end of the food drive.

According to the ad itself the Food Drive has been over since November 5, 2010.
It looks as if the Burlington Free Press ran this outdated ad so that it could put a list of schools next to the ad for "Direct Cremation Services."
It also looks as if Citizens Bank and City Market help make electronic editions of newspapers such as the Burlington Free Press available in Vermont schools; that means that the Burlington Free Press is being read by students of all ages all over Vermont.
It seems to me that there are students of all ages all over Vermont who read my blog; they're watching me be ridiculed, sexually harassed and threatened not only by the government but by the media, huge corporations, professional sports leagues, celebrities, and they've watched the pedophilia get endorsed by implication even by the United Nations and Unicief.
Who do you think those kids believe is doing the right thing? I guarantee you that they DON'T think that I'm right.
I can't work on this all at once. Hopefully, the general idea of it is obvious, and hopefully, I'll be able to get everything on my list done just for this blog page and the one before it, "November 10, 2010" by tomorrow morning or tomorrow night. There are more pictures to put up, more to write about; there's ALWAYS a lot to do.
This really isn't how I want to spend my time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One thing that was obvious from last week's Friday Night Lights is that the younger actors who joined the show after I stopped writing for it don't understand the quality of writing that I did. If they are willing to be part of the harassment, calling me a pig for no reason and making other kinds of jokes week after week, some of it has to be because they don't realize how good what I wrote was.
In general, I think that most people in the United States and around the world don't get the education and opportunities that would help them develop their talents. However, I also know that even among educated people, the writing I did for that show and other TV shows over the past year and the ability that I have to do that kind of writing are unusual. I didn't know that it was going to be that way, but I know that the way it felt when I was writing all of those scenes and the fact that the rough drafts were almost identical to the finished products mean that I have talent that transcends my education. There are people who have much more education than I do who can't write the way that I can write.
I wouldn't be nearly as good a writer as I am without having been a good student. You can't be a good writer without a formal education, just as you can't be good at anything else that's difficult without training. However, I know that not being physically able to write as fast as the ideas and the words that describe them present themselves to you in your brain is the result of more than education and diligence. Education and diligence are essential, but, so far in the world as it's been for centuries, they don't by themselves often add up to being able to do what I can do. I'm lucky; I was surprised.
